These images were created at the the Plastercast Museum at the University of Heidelberg in 2008. The casts of classical statuary were photographed at night with adages by the artist, creating temporarily new objects. The images make vivid the strangeness of objects which appear so familiar at first glance and which have haunted the history of Western art with ideas and ideals that can change and disappear.
